The Scenario is a kind of social fiction (thanks Elio!) that I build around my technology to define my own world and future directions thanks to that technology.

Dear Laura,
Although it’s not clear wheter I can provide scientfic comments you asked for, I will give a first reaction: The focus on personal & environment = ‘own world’ is quite good, especially because there is are persons involved rather then objects (“I want YOU back”) At this point the strive for control, even by displacement in real life or crossing the border between life and death, becomes clear, creating so much oppurtunities, but also so much dependencies to be controlled (or not). To me that’s why Ambient Intelligence can become “the technology we love to hate”, regardless of use. But, and that’s maybe the scientific part, it’s not clear if talking about “The Ambient Intelligence” makes sense. First because AmI is a vision rather than a technology, second because ‘intelligence’ suggest moren than information processing. So the processing by AmI is the central application but it remains also a hypothetical black box. Nevertheless I hope your visionary ideas will stimulate debate on these technologies.
Best,
Bart
